In the ceiling of Gymnasium Felisenum’s new auditorium 166 panels have been placed.
Each year the graduates will rise up and leave behind a message above the ceiling to
their successors.
The message can be a text, a poem, an aphorism, a slogan in Dutch or another language taught at school, but in any case a stylized message. Whoever finds an earlier message
behind the panel will give it the destination indicated by the predecessor. Poet Menno
Wigman, like Birthe Leemeijer a former student of the school, will assist the students in
writing their messages. At the opening of the auditorium on March 15th he placed the
poem “puer” above the ceiling.
On June 2nd 2013 the first Panel Day took place
